We had a great response from the Navigating Cancer community to our shared experience promotion over the holidays, with over 60 stories published in a little over two weeks. We were unsure how many responses we would receive given how busy everyone is during that time of year, so we were thrilled to see so many great contributions.
And the Winner Is…
We selected one post at random from all that were submitted during the contest time frame and the winner is…Kandise H. Her shared experience, titled My Invisible Cape, documented the feelings (strength, courage, and love) that helped her persevere during her cancer journey. As the winner of this promotion, Kandise will receive an Amazon Kindle courtesy of Navigating Cancer. Congratulations Kandise!
We hope everyone will continue to share their cancer stories with our community, as they really do make a difference in the lives of those who are in the midst of their cancer journey. We’ve heard from a number of members who were contacted by survivors in-treatment after reading their shared experiences, and how rewarding it was to be able to offer some insight or comfort to others who were experiencing similar challenges.
