Navigating Cancer President and Founder Gena Cook recognized as one of Puget Sound Business Journal’s 12 Innovators of the Year

The Puget Sound Business Journal announced its 2020 Innovators of the Year, and our President and Founder Gena Cook was highlighted as one of the Puget Sound region’s most creative and forward-thinking people. This is the fourth year the Business Journal has produced this list to recognize 12 individuals who have made extraordinary advances in their fields.

The Business Journal states that it chooses leaders who are transforming the way business is done in the Puget Sound region and Gena is certainly one of those people. She founded Navigating Cancer over 10 years ago and has worked ever since to develop tools and technologies to improve the lives of cancer patients and help care teams deliver comprehensive care to their patients. This year’s innovators will be honored at the Museum of Pop Culture on Feb. 13. Additionally, the Business Journal will publish a feature article each month with an in depth look at the work of each of the 12 honorees.

2019 was a strong year for Navigating Cancer as a leader in patient relationship management and oncology-focused technology development. We look forward to continuing our success in 2020 and helping lead the way for value-based cancer care technology.
