Navigating Cancer Announces Oncology Care Model Solution to Maximize Performance Payments for Participants

Navigating Cancer’s OCM solution directly tackles the looming challenge facing OCM participants: reducing costs enough to qualify for performance payments. Despite the growing number of Medicare ACOs in the country, less than one third of all CMS ACOs in 2015 succeeded in reducing costs far enough below their target benchmark to qualify. Though the complexity of cancer care presents several cost saving opportunities, one disastrous hospitalization could completely negate the impact of more modest savings.
