When patients are actively involved in their health care, it can result in an improved quality of life. That’s why Navigating Cancer is constantly working to keep patients and their care teams connected. Most recently, we added Symptom Grading features to our Triage platform, which allows oncology nurses to add additional details to patient-reported symptoms and treatment side effects, such as frequency, severity, and interference with everyday activities. The patient’s care team can review this information—displayed in a standardized, easy-to-read format—to enable rapid evaluation and faster interventions.
In the near future, we’ll also be launching upgrades to our Health Tracker app, which will allow patients more interaction to improve proactive care by keeping them involved in their treatment. Stay tuned for the launch and more details.
