Share Your Experiences
and Meet Others Like You
It's said that wisdom is best gained from experience. Navigating Cancer makes it easier for you to connect with, gain
strength and learn from others who've been on this cancer journey too. And when you're ready, you can give back by
sharing what you've learned with those just beginning.
In your Navigating Cancer Community, you'll find that Shared Experiences make it easier to discover relevant topics
based on what you're going through. Whether it's member experiences about "my diagnosis," "evaluating treatment
options," or "overcoming fear," you'll be able to find - and hopefully share - wisdom from real-life experiences.
You can also use Shared Experiences to blog your personal thoughts and then decide whether to keep your entries
private, allow your supporters to read your posts, or share your experiences with the broader Navigating Cancer
community.
If you want to connect with people and engage in more interactive discussions or information sharing, browse and
join a Community Group on Navigating Cancer. You can join a group focused on your cancer type, a group sponsored by
your healthcare provider, or a group you create in order to foster communication around a specific topic or interest.
Within groups you can:
- ask questions
- reply to discussions
- post helpful documents
- publish events to the group calendar
- share useful web links
Creating and joining groups is easy and free on Navigating Cancer and they can be either public, or private, depending on your preferences.
