Track your Health
The Navigating Cancer Daily Health Journal provides an easy way to record your cancer symptoms and/or treatment side effects.
One of the most important things you can do to partner with your doctor is to carefully monitor how you're feeling
and what you're taking. The Navigating Cancer Daily Health Journal provides an easy way to record your cancer
symptoms and/or treatment side effects. The severity of your condition is easy to rate, using the scoring system (0-4)
used by the National Cancer Institute ratings that your doctor is familiar with.
For a quick description of what a rating means, simply hover your mouse over the rating to view the tip.
When you've recorded your health for a number of days, it's easy to view a summary of your information by selecting
the Tracker Summary report. The Tracker Summary will consolidate all of your daily entries for up to the four
previous weeks. For those health issues that have been giving you some problems (those areas with at least two
ratings of "2" or more), Navigating Cancer will generate a summary chart showing what your ratings were during the
time period, and also indicate which days you received chemotherapy treatments, if any.
Your Tracker Summary gives an instant snapshot of your health for you and your doctor.
This Tracker Summary provides a quick way for you and your doctor to identify potential medication or treatment
combinations that may need adjusting, or indicate areas your doctor can work with you to improve your well being.
